We all come from countries with very bad pollution rates, and we want to do something to fix that.
We’re a team of 2 people who came together through this hackathon and want to build a web app which will decrease our deforestation as well as the pollution rates and the problems that come with it.

PlantoGram is a platform created for needing more greenery in their respective cities. The project lets you know where areas which need trees to be planted are and encourages people to plant there. Every tree planted will be connected with an individual’s ID, which they can share on social media to spread the word about our platform and create a sort of ripple effect. Through forest monitoring, we can recognize which areas might need to be greener,and encourage the people to plant on those areas. Through the app, people will not only fix the bad pollution rates through planting, but will also become more ecological-friendly, wanting to protect the environment.
